WELCOME TO A.P.P.L.E.

We are an organisation for children and young people based in Acton, West London. We provide free, open-access recreational, educational and creative opportunities for kids aged 8-18 years.

Most of our activities take place at the ART BLOCK in Acton Park, a once derelict public toilet transformed by A.P.P.L.E. into a thriving community centre. The venue is right at the heart of the local community.

Our drop in sessions are open to everyone and a typical session involves anything and everything from gardening, campfires & cook-outs, structure building, carnivals and dressing up to community art projects and general hoodling & haring around in the park - Basically anything that’s fun and challenging!!

We have a team of dedicated freelance specialists in art, sport and play who provide high-quality projects that are fun and exciting for the children and young people who take part. We rely heavily on the children and young peoples feedback and ideas to make sure we are providing the sort of service they want.

In the past year our projects reached 5,000 individual children, mostly in LB Ealing but also at events held in Hounslow, Hillingdon, Islington, Southwark, Brent, Kensington & Chelsea and Richmond.  We see 100+ children each week at our regular projects and have 750 children and young people registered who regularly take part in one or more projects.
